Sirius 250/500

Recommended Posts

I've got a Sirius 250 whose number 12 submaster has stopped working properly. It won't respond to its fader, but it will respond to the bump button. It does however come on when the fader for the number 11 submaster is pushed up :?

Any idea what might be causing this and how I can go about getting it sorted out?

Regards

Ianto

This is due to a damaged fader 12 not being picked up by the fader decoding circuit. Fader requires replacing, these are still available - the part no is 4417000 (Alpha 10K Fader Lin 60mm : RA6044-201-15D1-B14-01G).

Hi,

We have a Sirius 500 that is now retired from regular use. However, we have kept it around to use as a backup desk.

Recently, we discovered that at some point in the past, during handling, the desk's Grand Master slider was damaged and no longer works. Given that this is a somewhat important component, the desk is effectively useless without it.

Is it possible to obtain a replacement slider? Similarly, is the PCB configured to allow the slider to be replaced and soldered without risking damage to other components on the board?

Thanks!

Andrew
