  1. Hi Johnny,

Searching for the HiPoint keyboard you mention above shows many different keyboards.

Please could you give me a link to the one you have? Ideally somewhere where I can buy one for us to test?

Does the keyboard have media keys, or any 'additional' keys that aren't always found on a basic keyboard?

    Regards,

  2. Hi Cucolino,

The app doesn't use the physical size of the screen, but the number of pixels that make up the screen.

Apple iOS devices are easy, as they have a small product range. However, the Android product range is so wide and diverse it's a lot harder to define between phones and tablets - cheaper Android tablets have a physically large screen size, but a smaller number of pixels than the more expensive Android phones that are now available.

We are looking at ways we can get around this, so stay tuned!

  3. Hi James and Cucolino,

Pressing 'Clear' should clear all these values, no matter which preset these values are in.

This seems to be working for me, but if you have a showfile that this doesn't work in, please email it to me so we can look into this further.

    Best Regards,

  4. Hi Marc,

I will look more into this when I'm back in the office on Monday. However, I wouldn't suggest 'upgrading' anything in the console - everything you have there should work fine, you don't need more RAM or a larger flash card.

The fact that it seemed to work when you shake the console suggests a bad connection somewhere. This could be something easy - first thoughts are the Flash Card could be loose, so you get the error every time the console tries to save or load the show. If you get a chance, open the console and make sure everything is seated properly inside the console.

    Regards,

  5. Hi Cdexter,

On the LeapFrog 48&96 there is no way to record intensities into a palette.

However, you can select a group, and then use the 'Intensity' option on the wheels to change the intensity of them all at the same time.

  6. MIDI is a one way signal, so it doesn't matter what you plug the Midi cable into, as it doesn't talk back to the computer.

This means that 'No Output Device' is your Mac / QLab not detecting the physical MIDI adaptor you are plugging in (I assume via USB?) rather than the device at the end of the MIDI cable.

    Hope this makes sense?

It might be worth sending the guys at Figure 53 an email.
