I have spoken to Peter at ABTT about this and would just like to push it as this would so help me. Please could we look in to giving me a specials page that would give me a 1 to 1 dmx. It would just need to be 512 boxes on the touch screen, for each universe so i could just flash the dimmer. So when I go in to a venue with a show and they are not sure of their dimmer numbers I can just flash a dimmer without having to patch it to an empty channel to flash it. This would save a lot of time. It would be so nice to be able to use the command line to call up dimmers not channels, but I know this will never happen. The update I got to enable me to carry on using my windows remote lets me log on to the desk but when I try to change anything it loses connection with the desk and will not let me log on again till I have turned the pda off then on. Is this a desk thing or pda? It worked fine before the update. Many Thanks Mason

Can you tell me if there is a way of recording an effects pallett that will work on all types of fixtures not just the type that you have recorded it on. Eg so it works like the fig of 8 effect will on all moving light fixtures. What i would like to have is an effect that would move the colour wheel 10 - 240 on all types of fixture. i used to use the frog function to do this and it worked, is there any way of having this in this section somehow?. many thanks Mason

Hi Peter i have just put the update on my desk. ican no longer get my remote to work it locked the desk up with a cross on the monitor, the pc says redrawing then stops . please help. i have a bug report if helps mason debug.dat debug.dat

Hi Peter Have put 5.1 on tonight and had a quick play with it. The subs work fine now thanks for that. But I have now found the groups don’t work And I am not positive but I don’t think the macros are working as well. sorry about this . Mason

That sounds very useful . as for the sub problem i have now loaded the update on a second desk and found that it is doing the same . i have now realized that it always jumps back 2 pages so if you are on 2 it will jump to a blank page page 3 it will jump to page 1 and so on. is this how its meant to work? (dont like it ) many thanks Mason

First of all i would like to say well done with the new Version 5. i like the changes i installed it saturday for a rave i was doing saturday night and recorded lots to the sub pages. what i found was if you are on sub page 2 and press down to go to page one it now jumps to page 0 or a blank page number. also i had things recorded on 9 pages of subs. i found that sub 8 page 7 and sub 9 page 5 (i think) stayed on top of all the other pages, (as it used to if you were still using them on the old version) but they will not turn off. (the sub faders were down ) the only way i could get them to clear was to delete them and re-record them. the problem did not re-occur, but I have only used this for 1 night so far. Also i found that if you press the shift button and the sub flash button it brings up what i think is a new screen for the subs. Is there a way of getting more than one line of subs on this page? many thanks Mason

Hi Peter I have come up with a problem on my Leapfrog 48. I have been using 12 Roboscan 1220 iir/ 4 Mac 500/ 2 Roboscan 812. When i set them up on the desk, it let me load all the fixture fine. And I could control them all, I then started to set up my palettes all worked fine till I did the 812s, I could not get then to replay after recording them to palettes all the others worked fine . I then tried to record them to submasters and they would not replay there either. Is it something I am doing or is it a problem. many thanks Mason
