    SX Buttons

could this be implemented onto the bullfrog etc..... That way we can control generics on the subs, and fixtures on the sx buttons.....it a pain in the **** when u want to snap from 1 sub to another.....sx buttons would be really nice!!!!!!
  2. 4get what i said above....coz basicly you already do it on the mambo frog with the SX playbacks!!!! why cant we have them on the frogs? it could work in this fashion.....select brightness attribute button, lock it, then the flash buttons become sx playbacks.... i assume that the sx buttons only store fixture data...which is fine.... what do you think?
  3. well all the things i mentioned are somewhere on the desk...but there isn't a screen which shows everything...i.e. when busking a show...it would be nice to see at one time what your subs masters are and pallets...also i meant a count down on fade time's basically could just be a table SUB P1 c b P 1 chase 1 White 1 Open 1 Cyc 2 cyc 2 Greene 2 Strob 2 Move 3 f/h 3 blue 3 Gobo1 3 Macs 4 limes 4 pink 4 4 5 5 fg 5 5 Then at the bottom of the page have a count down of fade times... update looks good!!! "think i might start to love the desk!"
  4. there's no midi port..on r bull frog...so how can u trigger it by midi?
  5. just a quick one :? Could we have a display like on the sirus????? i.e showing submaster data, pallets, next mem...etc...could implement fade times etc..... and ages ago I mentioned about displaying submaster name's in the lcd window "as read only"......will this be in the next update????

    Beta Testers

whats a "interim Beta releases" can i be a "Beta tester"....very bored at the mo
  7. As a lot of you can see I’m very big on "true parameter" programming.... I fully understand the reason's on why you want a simple user interface...But us operators who want (need) true parameter programming, obviously can handle a icky interface.... u have "full mode" - which must be used by %^%^& "partial mode" - for the person who wants more flexibility well why not "true parameter mode".....that way you still have the easy user interface for the %$%$, but allowing a method a advance control if needed....I'm sure it would make the desk more attractive, to the more demanding user????
  8. Last time i mentioned Locking Palettes..... i got...."some people like to flash channels"! + go buy a avolites desk!!! I luv the way the pearl 2000 handles palettes would be nice if that kinda a operation was on the frog...... Why aint you sure about combining them? the good old sirus500 focus-subs were really handly.... how about...selecting dimmer and then the pallets could be linked to a mem or a sub?
  9. yep happy-thanks! but :? will all the chases start from step one or just the one-shots??????
  10. But when is this new software coming out??? to be totaly honest... if the desk had....one shots, beat control and live speed edits (and BLIND MODE!!!"having great fun pulling out my dmx mid show to edit") i would be totaly happy with the desk... coz they are the features I need, to do my job... +please invert pan+tilt!!!.....would make life so much easier... got a prob....the colour attribute keeps locking up... + this is something which has come to my mind....somewhere on this forum i spoke about linking...not sure how sim cueline on the illusion is...but on the sirus 500..on cueline it was poss to run two brightness levels...this is basically the link function.......any chance of putting a cueline on the frog or some kind a graphical ?? would make it a lot easier to run in theatre mode, especially as it a nice visual display(looks more pro)....
  11. joystick or tracker ball would be good...not a mouse....we had one on the sirus500 and it was a bit hard to use to follow/spot... but still it was really useful.
  12. "Excuse me, the Sirius 250 and 500 were the start of the decreasing reputation of Zero 88" well in that case...why did u bother implementing cue-line on the illusion... I think the frog has got a lot of usful gear on it!!!! IT REALLY HAS!!! but features missing like, one shot, blind mode, beat control of chase, live edits of speed, control... features which most users would expect from a desk of this price.. r its down fall... nz comment "obviously the Frog is the wrong desk for you." has been said to a few users.....the rest of you zero88 staff...always give good responses to are sugestions...however nz, alway seems a bit negative in his replys to "users" suggestions.... i like the fan feature!!!
  13. one shot-not what the guys asking forBbut would still be useful)....he wants to bring up a sub with a chase on it, + to know that it going to start from step 1...... this could be done simply by hitting the flash button, to bring it to step 1?? yes i know the output would be displayed for a sec...but can alway turn flash buttons off!!! i suggest u super guys at zero88, go hire some other companys desk...so maybe u'l started realise what missing of the frog... lol
  14. yes i have checked the pot relating to the playback X section!!!!!!!! I thought it was 32, but this is sumut which is driving me mad....does a six channel dimmer pack count as 1 pieces or as 6??? think the slow reaction time on my scanners my be due to overloading the dmx line..i.e 46dimmers 2*16channel moving mirrors 2*13channel moving mirrors 2*1 channel scrollers 1*1 channel haze machine thus(see you have to use snoby words if you study at derby!!) using 80meters of cabling!!!! anyone got a circuit diagram to build a dmx repeater/splitter....maybe zero88 could manufacture a cheap 1 for us
  15. its only with the dimmers, it dosnt snap...i checked it with an alcora and it works fine???? two of the dimmer back are your beta. havn't looked at the desk outputs to see if they snap will check. How many fixtures+dimmers channels should be used on 1 dmx universe with your desk, and what should the maxim cable length be??? thanks.....
  16. thanks... is a delay option ever going to be implemented onto the desk???(would be usful) Any feed back on snap a mem???anyone else had a similar prob???
  17. Hmmm gona sound stupid now 8O but what does the ltp fade time effect. fade up time, down time or both? i want to program a scene with some colour scrolls on (mem1). In the 2nd (mem2)scene the scrollers dimmer aint used but i want it to scroll so that in scene 3 its in the right place???.. how do i do this.. at mo as soon as i hit go the scoller scrolls and I get a annoying colour chase!!! also i want a snap a mem...i.e. hit go and instantly change to the next mem with out dimming, set the fade times to 0. but they still seem to dim...seem like there is a lantacy type prob between hiting the go button + the desk taking any action.....need the speed of the blackout button!!!.....thanks
  18. could we have a % indicator on how much of a fade is completed....pos like the sirus500 method would be nice. thanks
  19. any chance of this feature being implemented????? go on, give it a frog ref number!!!! PLEASE
  20. Richards why link into a sub? You would have to create a chase, then transfer it to the sub, then link it to come on, then link it to come off!! thats seems a little to complex.. My suggestion is that, its done in the same manor as the jump...simply add the mem #. in which you want itto link with. The scene memory fadeIN/OUT times would takeover the chases setting. and when u move onto the next memory...the link mem fades out with it...This is how it is done on the etc expression(i.e. fade in/outs)
  21. yes I meant the remote switches. thanks for the tip xp. XP last explanation is exactly what I meant about links. As to how it could be implement? it could be done in the same fashion as creating a jump function?
  22. Any chance of a link function??? could we pos have a step button on the remote output??
  23. how many beam shapes do i use in a show........a lot!!!!! dont like the lx to be dull...anyone used a mac 2000...2 roating gobo wheels.....ahhhhhh.....i need to get out more!
