  1. This would certainly help. I like how the dials on the FLX are much more rigid, anybody want to swap?
  2. Thanks Edward, I look forward to implementing this!
  3. Point granted, I didn't make it clear that the Position attribute comes across as far more sensitive than the colour/beamshape. I'm aware that you can adjust the wheel sensitivity but not for each attribute.
  4. Without jumping on the bandwagon I'd like to share with you how I mostly use the solution and what works/doesn't work for me. I use my solution mostly in a live environment, and as such I use a nontouch monitor with a mouse because it has a much better pallet layout, both visually and practically by having more displayed on the screen rather than having to flick through pages on the MFKs. As ziglight has mentioned, the LCD screens are painfully slow to load for live shows and that you have to use your gut instincts that you're on the right page to select the next pallet for fast paced visuals. I very occasionally use the desk as stand alone, usually when the programming has been done or it's a simple show with few changes. My personal views, although I have created some great designs with the solution in live environments (and to the astonishment of some punters that I'm not using Avo!), I believe the desk is much better suited for theatre applications rather than live, high energy music events. We've had an issue with our fader wheels (that I have mentioned to Z88) that when the PA is wound up and the bass is booming, it's really hard to control any of the fixture attributes with the wheels as they spin round by themselves adjusting whatever is selected. I've been told that this is a known issue and that it should be included in the latest update, which I'm still yet to download and install so it would be interesting to see if the issues persist.
  5. I also noticed some lines on the screen of an S24 I was setting up for a client on some pages that scroll, but switching to another page they disappear so it wasn't an obvious hardware fault.
  6. Don't get me started on Chauvet!! 😂
  7. It was very strange, initially I had more with a very faint 1% intensity flicker but once I had addressed all fixtures manually it switched to 3 full intensity flicker. They were all quite early on in DMX addressing, 5, 11 and 29 especially with the bright flicker but initially as above and 47, 53 and 59 with the faint flicker. Strange!!
  8. Thanks for the responses. It was with a rig of 14 x Chauvet COLORdash Par Quad 7 and 2 x Ovation F95WW. 3 of the 14 quad 7s flickered when the rest were fine which is why I was confused. All working well with RigSync disabled. =)
  9. Hello Folks, I'm not sure if this is a software fault or an operator fault, but I was hoping for a quick setup of the new FLX s 24 for a client but it turned into a long days work! For some reason, some of the LED fixtures were flickering (strobing in white) when connected to DMX. I thought at first this may have been a cable or fixture issue but having tried numerous combinations there was still an issue. So, I went into the menu to check settings and I disabled RigSync, miraculously it solved the issue straight away! As this was a quick setup I didn't have time to look into if there may have been any other configurations that could have caused it, but I thought I would check here to see if it was a software fault or that of myself. Thanks in advance.
  10. Thank you all for your help, it has been very helpful and it will definitely help us speed things up while programming!
  11. Is there a way to go back and edit a cue in a playback? I have not found a way of doing this and have had to delete a whole playback to then re-record it. Also, is there a way of releasing an individual fixture parameter i.e. pan, tilt or colour, beamshape etc without clearing or homing the fixture?
  12. All sorted now, thanks for the help. Now to have a play! :-)
  13. I maybe being daft, but I cant find any info on how to install the latest version on the desk. I have it on my USB stick.
  14. I changed the IP adress on the desk (to 192.168.0.30) and it pinged up straight away. I had also changed the network cable from the desk to the router but I don't know if that made any difference, the previous cable didn't have connectors in every space of the plug but the other one did.
  15. Thanks for your help Jon, got it working in the end. 😊
  16. Hi Jon, I'm pretty sure the console version is 7.8.2.4 Tablet ip is 192.168.1.16 I am not with the console at the moment so can't check, I assume it will be shown in the network settings?
  17. Yes. It says remote enabled but doesn't show the console on the app. When trying to enter the IP manually on the app it says "Warning - Failed to Connect", the same message that appears when trying to connect with DHCP off on the desk.
  18. Hey, I'm trying to setup the remote feature on the desk to use with the android apps for the solution. I have followed the instructions in the manual but when setting DHCP to Yes the desk dissapears from the app and says "Remote Not Enabled - No DHCP Address" on the bottom of the screen. DHCP is enabled on the router and wireless on. Please help.
  19. Is there a way to release a fixture without having to clear everything set?
  20. Thanks for your help, I cracked it and it's working a treat!
  21. Hello, Could you please add the Chauvet Strike 4 to the Fixture Library?
  22. Thank you. I will look into this next time I'm setup!
  23. Hello. To put it simply, is there a way to programme fixture movements into submaster 1 and then use submasters 2 & 3 to flash between the odd/even light output without restarting the movement programme? Is this done with tracking?
